While summer reading programs are almost over, you still can get good book to read. You also can read them on the cool nights of the fall or for the remaining days of the summer. Usually, I post this list earlier in the summer, but I have been trying to finish The 1776 Retreat, working for my editing clients and doing other things that this blog has taken longer than I wanted.
I will start with mine.

The 1776 Series of Books
The 1776 Scroll of Secrets is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. It is about a witch who is kidnapped over a magic scroll. She is the only one to unlock the magic in the scroll. She is looking for her true love along the way. This book's scroll was signed in 1776 and is connected to The 1776 Retreat, which will be released in a few weeks. In addition, if purchased through me, you can get it for $10.
The 1776 Bed and Breakfast came out in 2010 and is about a bed and breakfast owner who has a theft, two fires and sabotage. She thinks the man she meets is doing the things. He isn't but he does have a secret. Every book following this one uses the inn as part of the settings. This is my favorite book and my most popular.
The 1776 Musket came out in 2017 and is about a bombing at a university library. The musket is made into a bomb. A history professor and computer science major investigate and have to figure out who the bomber is.
The 1776 Soldier is the most recent. It came out in 2023. A murder takes place in 2023 that is connected to a murder that happens in 1776. The chef of the 1776 Inn and the Army soldier are forced into finding out who did the murders.
Coming Soon: The 1776 Retreat is about a writer's retreat that is part of the 250th anniversary celebration. The funds for the celebration are stolen. The housekeeper of the 1776 Inn and a reporter for sports media try to figure out who stole the money in time to prevent cancellation of the events. In addition, another crime related to the celebration happened.
Common Sense by James E Razzino is a thought-provoking book to cut through the noise about issues affecting the United States. The government is chipping away at our rights. As authors and business owners, we should protect our freedoms and rights to say whatever we want. The book also will help you decide who to elect for Congress, president, governor, state legislatures and councils. Go to https://www.amazon.com/author/jameserazzino to get your copy.
Are you having back pain? You should read this book before you agree to have surgery on your back. Michael Ahearn went through four back surgeries, and now his back doesn't align correctly. He has had issues stemming from the surgeries. However, The Back Bible is more than one man's account of bad surgeries. It quotes chiropractors, experts in new surgery techniques and others. The book also provides alternatives to surgery to dealing with pain. It is available on Amazon in print and electronic versions.
