How to Write Content for Fall

 

 

When writing blogs, you can stick to business-related text that will give you the right keywords and focus on the right audience. You also can write themes because people are searching for those things. Writing these theme-related blogs will not alter your rankings in search engine optimization, but they could bring you new customers. Some people searching these themes might be your target audience, but you won't know if you stick to business-related blogs. 


For example, if you want to write blogs about autumn themes, you can do that. I would recommend, though, that you connect the fall theme to your business in some way. Otherwise, it might not help you rank or be considered fresh relevant content by Google.

 

Here are some tips for writing content in the fall.

 

  1. Relate to Fall Holidays. If you want people to search for your company, you can try writing blogs that connect a fall holiday to your business. For example, a home improvement company could write a blog about protecting your house from vandalism on Halloween. If you are an author, you could write a blog about books that take place at Halloween.
  2. Cheer for the Team. The fall means football, both college and pros, baseball playoffs, and hockey and basketball starting. You could post on social media your preference for winning. You also could run a contest, such as a discount for a team win. 
  3. Give Recipes. Whatever your business, your potential customers would enjoy getting recipes to try during the fall season. To be picked up from search engines, though, it should relate to what you do. For example, a dentist could do something on good food recipes to help your teeth. If you detail cars, try recipes to eat while you wait for the car.
  4. Be Grateful. Issuing a statement where you are thanking your subscribers, customers or followers is always good to do in the fall. You might want to add a special promotion too.

 

    5. Elections Are Coming. While you might not want to get into a political debate over issues, you might want to incorporate the elections into your writing without debating the issues.  If you are a veteran-owned company, you might want to write a blog about exercising your right to vote and thanking veterans who serve this country.

    6. Serve Veterans on Veterans Day. That brings me to another fall theme, Veterans Day. You could interview a local veteran and post the interview on your blog to show how much you value the people who serve.

How to Write Characters in Your Fiction

    Authors have to figure out their characters first before they begin plotting or creating a setting. Sometimes, the characters and setting come at the same time, such as a lady in Regency England. When authors determine the characters, they are able to fit a setting around them. Here are things to consider when writing characters . Sometimes, authors are unsure how many characters are enough for a story. The answer depends on the type of fiction and author's taste. Fantasy authors often use 10 to 12 main characters to build out a world while romance authors can stick to about four or five. Children's authors use one or two.
